This is a stunning 1940s gold locket (chain not included). It has an etched floral design on one side with room for initials to be added. This piece is large enough to hold a note. This piece is from England and has a full English hallmark.

- E&CL = Makers Mark for Elkington & Co. who operated in the mid 19 century to mid 20th century.
- "Leopard Head" = Essay Mark for London (place of origin)
- 375 = gold fineness. This is the marking for 9K gold a european standard similar to US 10K
- "Lion Passat" = Queen of England Mark
- "G" (in a particular font) = 1942-43 year made. The year mark for the year an item was made.
